Well, on the my first proper holiday of 2008 in Sanya, Hainan baby 三亚~~. They do things slightly different here:

21:40, arrive at airport, people walking in and out to baggage collection even people who weren't on the plane!

21:50, get a taxi, my god he was slow, driving about 40km/h all the way to the hotel.

22:10, nice looking hotel indeed, grand foyer, nice pianist, dumb check-in staff.

22:30, after pretty much checking myself in, arrive at the hotel soon. very big, very nice. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in the world (and I have stayed in some pretty damn nice and expensive hotels around the world), where the radio actually works!!!! The hotel radio works, I always check just in case, this was the first time, and they were playing Eagles - Hotel California 加州旅馆-老鹰乐队.... interesting 很有意思啊.

22:40, there is no 'Guest Directory' in my room... so I can't read up about the hotel, what it has to offer and more importantly, is there a massage place with happy endings. I call the operator, no English... So I try to explain in Chinese what a Guest Directory is 世界上的酒都有一本‘介绍家电’的书. Before I know it there are no less than 3 house-keeping people in my room annoying me, I was getting slightly horny though, they finally understood what I meant but all at the same time like a band said 没有 haven't got it.

23:00, a la la la long, girl I'm going to make you sweat, sweat like you can't sweat no more, and if you cry I am gonna push it push it some more. I haven't heard this song in about 8 years, but it came on the radio and it's the first time I've really understood the lyrics, it sounds like it's on about rape!! Probably right.

23:02, ok so now I have no Internet 没有网络, before I know it their are 2 technicians 师傅's and 1 housekeeper in my room. What this hotel's staff lack in common sense and IQ they really make up for in punctuality and speed of arrival. They start trying to stick a wireless card into my computer... which by the way already has a wireless card 他们调试一下放一个无线卡进去我的电脑。。。但我的电脑有无线卡。You don't need to be an expert to know that is not going to work.

00:10, finally one hour later the Internet to working!!! 上网啦！！！

01:00, Internet has stopped working again 又上不了！！！！, fuck it, I am on holiday so going to sleep.

09:00, 起来。。还没有网络好。。他们回来但是这次他们不能做好。。所以我猜猜猜然后自己做好。10:00 有网络可以上网。 Then come back to fix the internet but the stupid fucker's can'tdo it this time so I guess and end up fixing it myself.

Rain rain rain can't go sunbathe on the beach. shit. 下大雨。。哎。。
